SHAME ON JOHN KELLY

 

Whiptail WallabyJohn Kelly, spokesman for the Kangaroo Industry Association, exporter and proprietor of LENAH GAME MEATS, cited for cruelty to possums on the ABC "7:30 Report", 4th May 1999. The Minister for Primary Industry (and Environment) in Tasmania, David Llewellyn takes no action.  Kelly is also involved in the cruel harvesting of wallabies. He sells his wallabies as the 'veal' of kangaroo. 

Photographs taken by Patty Mark Editor of ACTION of an undersized young wallaby with smashed-in skull is discarded with other carcasses, body parts and rubbish. Mark Pearson, President of Animal Liberation NSW examines the senseless slaughter of Australian wildlife in another photo which appeared in ACTION Number 61 April 1999. 

Lynda Stoner writes that John Kelly's barbecue menu includes: wallabies , emu and crocodile.
